DRIFT: working title

This film marks alot of firsts for both myself and my collaborator, Tanya Davies. It is Tanya's first script and development of an experimental animation. It is my first moving image work longer than 4 minutes which adheres to a more narrative plot. The film is based on a body of work called The Sea, which I began in 2006 with large drawings and watercolours and which have recently developed into manipulated photographs and a video installation. It is a sea journey set in Kingston Harbour involving several characters taken from current events and popular literarature. We expect to complete the film around December 2008 and we will be testing the waters on the international video & animation festival circuit. Keep checking back for updates.
